OUR PHILOSOPHY

When real days gather, the path appears.

vivome is a wellness recording platform that organizes the daily lives of people experiencing illness into data, finding clues for recovery in scattered days.

THE NAME

“vivome”, one name, two readings

vivome

비보미

비보

悲報sad news

In Korean, ‘bibo’ (悲報) means sorrowful news, often the news of someone’s death.

vivome

alivealive

The Latin-rooted prefix ‘vivo-’ means ‘vivid’ and ‘alive’.

The ending is always ‘me’.

Even when sad news (悲報) arrives, I am still vivo, alive. vivome pays attention to exactly that: the fact that I am still alive.

OUR STORY

Records Started in the Cancer Ward

vivome began with the founder's experience of fighting cancer.

This daily data, which remains nowhere in hospital records, was the most honest clue indicating the direction of recovery.

Every day after diagnosis consisted of much more than test results, what they ate, how much they slept, and on which days they felt particularly overwhelmed. Yet none of it stayed in the hospital chart.

Between “you're normal” and “but something still feels off” there was always a gap. To keep from getting lost in it, there was no choice but to record and look at each day yourself.

So we built it. A tool that organizes just by writing and reveals patterns just by accumulating, not an app that hands you a diagnosis, but one that helps you become the expert on your own body.

An auxiliary brain that carries the variables too many to hold alone, yet a mirror that leaves the judgment and meaning to you. vivome helps those passing through illness stay the owners of their lives.

What we believe

Not a patient, but someone passing through the experience.

vivome doesn't treat illness, burnout, or heartbreak as problems to fix fast. We see them as a passage through which you rediscover who you are. These six beliefs are the floor every screen and sentence in vivome stands on.

01

Experiencer, not patient

Not “a depression patient,” but “someone passing through depression.” Illness is part of you, not your name. We start from agency that isn't defined by illness, and treat you as the owner of your life, not a bundle of problems.

02

Emotion is a signal, not a mood to fix

Emotion is a survival signal wired in by evolution. Fear readies avoidance, anger readies boundaries, sadness readies recovery. So instead of grading it good or bad, we read what it's telling you, using emotion as direction, not something to erase.

03

Separate what you control from what you trust

We don't make you control everything. We help you manage what you can control (your choices, attitude, records) and trust what you can't (others, the course of illness, outcomes). Dividing the two is what carries you through the shaky stretches.

04

A mirror, not a coach, and only traceable words

We don't give answers or coach. Just “here's a pattern we see,” with the decision always yours. And we show that one sentence only when it traces to a validated scale or theory. Nice-sounding but unverifiable lines, “your frequency shifted”, we leave out.

05

Four auxiliary brains by your side

Modern complexity (food, chemicals, data overload) is hard to carry alone. vivome stays beside you with four auxiliary brains: storage that holds your scattered records, analysis that reflects patterns, self-awareness that surfaces signals you missed, and design that keeps good habits running without willpower.

Five lenses

Five lenses vivome reads your records through.

Every screen and sentence in vivome is designed around these five.

Observe state

“I'm just this kind of person”“I'm on this state right now”

Room to choose

Feeling good or badWhether your options are open or narrowing

Bouncing back

Never letting yourself waverFinding your way back after you do

Energy, not time

Slicing the day into smaller blocksSpending energy to match your state

Control vs trust

Trying to control everythingSorting what you can change from what you let go

OUR VISION

One Person's Record Becomes the Next Person's Map

We believe that the records of real experiences are the most precious content.

The 60 or 90 days of real life that pile up in vivome, the nausea of Day 3, the first shower of Day 17, the hope of Day 42, are records of the process, not a summary of the result.

Those records become e-books, passed from someone who walked the path first to the next person on it. What neither a doctor's explanation nor a paper's statistics can fill, “how was it for the person who went through this before me?”, is filled, in the end, by someone's honest days.

Toward everyday life beyond the hospital, the honest footprints of someone who walked it first.

BUSINESS

A Structure Where Records Become Assets

01

Author Monetization

When you sell an e-book made from your records, 70% of the revenue goes to the author. Publishing costs are included in the subscription, so anyone can turn their experience into a book. Hard time isn't simply lost; it becomes an asset.

02

Partnership & Listing

We are recruiting wellness product and service partners. Verified curation matched to the context of real experiencers' records, introduced on the vivome home screen.
